    EIP project video

Fattening boars and thus dispensing with the castration of piglets: this is compatible with agricultural practice, as the EIP project from Baden-Württemberg (Germany) shows. Slaughterhouses can also adapt to the utilization of boar meat with special concepts. Valuable information for pig breeding is collected using special RFID ear tags. In this way, boars with negative odor characteristics can be selected at an early stage. One result of the project: boar meat is particularly suitable for fresh meat products.
