    Wood supplying chains in Spain are highly inefficient and lack transparency impacting costefficiency and sustainability among others, while major ICT advances allow nowadays to improve these by making use of outstanding software technologies as Blockchain. “Blockchain” comprise a stack of technologies that introduce distinguished elements not available before that can play a key role in final solutions.

    BIOEAST Initiative, the CEE countries’ Initiative for Knowledge-based Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry in the Bioeconomy, was established in 2016 to provide a political platform for the CEE countries to strengthen research and innovation cooperation and to enhance participation in the shaping of the European Research Area’s (ERA) policy and framework programme.
