Deworming my herd, how much does it cost?
Systematic deworming in adults promotes the development of parasite resistance to dewormers. Reasoned deworming relies on a fecal examination, which helps target horses that need to be dewormed. Deworming a herd incurs expenses, and reasoning deworming practices also helps control production costs.
