Fecal examination
Fecal analysis is part of targeted deworming. Horses excrete parasite eggs in manure, and the examination counts these eggs under a microscope. This helps determine the number of adult parasites in the horse. The analysis should be done 2-3 months after the last deworming, depending on the drug used.
