Het Markemodel is een ingrijpende systeeminnovatie en staat in een zin voor: regionale, horizontale netwerksturing op kwaliteitsdoelen door het belonen van geborgde prestaties van individuele boeren. Het in dit rapport beschreven Markemodel is een radicaal nieuw sturingsmodel voor duurzame landbouw. Het komt voort uit Vruchtbare Kringloop Achterhoek (VKA).
