Se ha partido del sistema de gestión de la empresa SANPANI denominado CIM (Cloud Ingredients Management) como modelo para la implementación de un sistema adaptado a las necesidades del proyecto GOSA. El sistema o plataforma se ha alojado en servidores propios del ICCA para asegurar el mantenimiento y seguridad del mismo. Se ha utilizado la base de datos de Ciqual como referente para la carga de datos nutricionales de alimentos y productos alimenticios. Se ha cargado en el sistema la información de recetas y menús del Ecorrecetario.
